Skyeworks: Natural Light Gallery is upstairs in The Old Wool Mill in Portree, on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
How to Find Us: In Portree, head along the Dunvegan road (take the A87 at the T-junction at the High School) rather than into the town centre (A855). We’re up a small lane a little way past the traffic lights, behind Howden’s and opposite the petrol station. If you get to the roundabout by the Co-op, you’ve gone past. We’re above The Isle of Skye Baking Company, and there’s a sign for both the gallery and bakery on the pavement that’s easy to spot.
Skyeworks has artworks and crafts from Highlands artists and makers, handmade gifts and knitwear, things for the home, an array of wool, maker’s materials and beads. The creative brain behind the gallery is Liza Hawthorne. We’re also on Facebook and Twitter (@skyeworksevents), and don’t forget you can subscribe to our newsletter.

Open year round. Monday to Saturday 10 am to 5pm-ish from March to December. In winter, January and February, we usually close a bit earlier (4pm-ish) and are closed on Mondays so we can enjoy a two-day ‘weekend’ for a few weeks.
